Virgin Sea Beach
Mandarmani is a beach resort in Purba Medinipur district of South Bengal, one of the southern districts of West Bengal. It is almost 180km from Kolkata and just 15km from Chaulkhola on the Kolkata-Digha route. Thousand small crabs crawl around the 13 kms long virgin beach making it look like a simmering field of the red flower mandar. Years ago the resemblance ignited the imagination of the locals, they named it Mandarboni. In course of time it has become Mandarmoni.
Enthused by its ambience some investors from Kolkata had developed a few resorts.
